Am I the only one that feels like eating when you put on workout wear? It can be so unforgiving. Once I see my image in the mirror I lose all motivation and think about eating that sausage that I resemble. Thank god someone finally got the hint that if we feel good about the way we look we are more inclined to actually workout instead of pushing our workout clothes to the back of the drawer. Who’s that someone? Glad you asked. That someone is Marika.

Marika Miracles is a shape enhancing line of activewear. It is made of Elastatight which is a specially engineered fabric that contours and uplifts specific parts of your body. And let me tell ya, I could use the contouring and lifting these days. It is also moisture wicking which is a must in activewear. My mom actually used to wear Markia back in the day when leg warmers were all the rage. They were on the cutting edge of activewear back then and again are in that same spotlight.

Marika sent me the Miraculous Waist Cincher Tank and the Miraculous Capri’s with Tummy Control. The tank has a nice deep V which I love. There is a zipper on the side so once you put it on you zip it down and it just sucks you in. The tank was really attractive in design. My only complaint was that it was a little tight and I ordered the XL. The website listed the Large and XL as being the same size which was kinda confusing. I thought the XL would be best because of my huge bust but I was still rather stuffed in the top. If a person had average bust though I think that it would be just fine. I am still a little too fat for this top to be honest because as you know, after having a baby you get jelly belly and I think mine has one too many servings of jelly. Once I actually lose the baby weight it will be a great workout top for me.

The Capri’s I really love. They tummy controls gets some getting used to, but in about 10 minutes you don’t even notice it. I tested these outside. It was probably 95 degrees and super humid. I went for an hour and half walk and I had no feeling of sweatiness in between my thighs which is always so nasty. It was awesome. They were so comfortable and made me feel really confident walking with my 5’10 super fit sister. I think they will be great for yoga too, which I love to do. The Miraculous Capri’s provide good support for core stability and posture which is obviously a must for yoga.

I only have one big complaint, they need expanded sizes. The sizing is only up to a 12-14. Lets be honest here, there are many of us bigger than that and we could use the shape-enhancing effect, or better yet shape distracting effects. It would be tremendous for them to expand at least two additional sizes.
